Job brief
We are currently seeking for Draughtsman to be responsible for creating technical drawings and layout plans based on specifications provided. The ideal candidate should be proficient in computer-aided design (CADD) software, with experience in software especially AutoCAD. Responsibilities includes a strong attention to detail, accuracy in drafting technical drawings and knowledge of industry standards as well as regulations relevant to the specific industry or projects.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D drawings of layouts, infrastructure, and zoning plans for urban or town developments.
- Draft plans for roads, drainage systems, utilities (water, electricity), and other infrastructure components.
- Develop accurate site layouts, showing the arrangement of buildings, green spaces, and public areas according to planning regulations.
- Incorporate topographical, geotechnical, and survey data into the designs to reflect the physical features of the land.
- Support planners in the preparation of master plans, showing long-term development strategies and zoning.
- Ensure all drawings and designs comply with local town planning laws, zoning codes, and building regulations.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from urban planners, architects, and regulatory bodies to align with project specifications.
- Create visual materials like plans, elevations, and sections for use in town planning presentations or meetings.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, surveyors, and planning officers to ensure all elements of the design are well-integrated.
- Organize and manage all project-related documentation, including drawing revisions, and ensure they are up to date.
- Create final as-built drawings post-construction, reflecting any changes made during the project.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Urban Planning/Architectural or any equivalents.
- Minimum 2 year related working experience
- Familiar with AutoCAD
